Dr. Kris Popli is a 1991 graduate of the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, where he received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He is a native Virginian who grew up in Richmond and received a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Virginia Tech. He has been practicing and living in Fairfax, Virginia for over 20 years. He is married to a lawyer/journalist and has two beautiful children, a daughter, age 17, and a son, age Twelve. Dr. Popli enjoys swimming, tennis, and travelling.
In 2003, Dr. Popli became the first dentist in the Tysons area to utilize the Waterlase dental laser. The dental laser was demonstrated live from our office on Washington's CBS Channel 9 News. He quickly became known as the "Laser Dentist" by adults and children who have experienced its benefits: no shots, no drills, no numbness!
Dr. Popli also has extensive post-graduate training in orthodontics, implants, cosmetic dentistry, root canal therapy, and periodontal treatment. He is a member of the Northern Virginia Dental Society, has made oral health presentations to area school children, and has appeared on radio and television programs as an expert in dentistry. Dr. Popli’s outgoing and friendly demeanor along with his gentle and caring manner are appreciated by all patients. He would be honored to get to know your family and friends too!
